As the creators of a CRM system that’s been specifically designed to support trade unions, it’s probably no surprise that Millertech attended the Irish Congress of Trade Unions’ Biennial Delegate Conference, which took place from 4 – 6 July in Kilkenny, Ireland.
The theme of the conference ‘Making Work Pay – Unions Transforming Work and Workplaces’, focused on the key priorities for workers in Ireland.
What was a surprise, however, is just how many Irish trade unions are looking to undergo a programme of digital transformation over the next 6 – 12 months. Our team were on hand to discuss all things CRM-related and there was no shortage of attendees who understood the importance of digital infrastructure – particularly in the wake of recent events, which has seen trade unions firmly in the media spotlight.
More importantly, it was nice to see familiar faces, meet new ones and share the same space with people who, like us, are keen to see Irish trade unions succeed. We were delighted to be invited to the FORSA President’s Dinner at the stunning Mount Juliet giving us the opportunity to enjoy an evening with our customers in such a lovely setting.
Congratulations to the organisers for hosting such an informative and engaging event – and we look forward to the next one.
