Millertech selected as technology partner for Federation of Independent Retailer’s new membership management system
London, UK – October 2022: Millertech has been awarded a multi-year contract to design and deliver a new membership management system for the Federation of Independent Retailers (the Fed); one of Europe’s largest employers’ associations. Based upon the enterprise Millertech CRM, the new development will combine multiple systems to simplify administration and increase the value each member can derive from their subscription.
The new Millertech solution will manage membership and contact information while handling subscriptions, enquiries and member communication. Its integrated tool set will help to deliver conferences, events, surveys and intelligent reporting dashboards to inform future strategy. The system will also connect seamlessly with existing technologies such as bank and postcode verification, and integrate with NewsPro, the Fed’s innovative title management initiative that allows retailers to optimise their range of newspapers and magazines. These features place the Millertech CRM at the heart of operations providing a 360º view of membership, an increase in operational efficiency and the provision of improved member services. Implementation and user acceptance testing will be conducted in partnership with the Fed’s in-house technology team.

Millertech has already conducted workshops to evaluate current processes and identify opportunities for improvement while collaborating with the Fed’s technical team to define the requirements and acceptance criteria of the new system. The project is now entering the migration phase where two large datasets are to be mapped, cleansed and combined to optimise the use of the new CRM. Launch is scheduled for 2023 with the website integration phase to follow. A multi-year support, hosting and development agreement is also in place to continue the system’s evolution.
